How One Bride's Wedding Plans Grew and Her Notes of Their Happy Wedding Day

Wedding is between a person and a woman, period. Marriage, relationships, and anything of that nature has always struck me as something holy, something special, something that I might wish to remember for the rest of my life.

Wedding Planning

I think that the wedding dress is where the stamp of the wedding starts, and where you should start your wedding planning. Get that right and the rest follows. Veils might be accented using crystal beads, pearls, pencil edge, chord edge, chording, rhinestone, edge, edging, lace, and other sorts of trim. Veils are a must for me to look totally different and special for him, necklaces a lot less so and straightforward tiny earrings. I am not religious, but my fave set of photos all of my life have been those of my parents' wedding in their church.

For more couples than ever today married life won't be new, since they will have been living together for some time. This was true, as we soon started a family and continued to grow up with our kids.

They other daft thing which occurred when we told my Gran about the wedding was that she gave me her wedding shoe. From then on the shoe had a life of its own and it began to dictate my color scheme, centerpiece design, linen choice, and the direction I wished to go with my gown.

I am sure description of her wedding that sent my senses tingling, and my mind reeling, with so many exciting wedding thoughts.

Steve announced that guests numbering between 50-75 would be cool. I said that's great news (for me)! Guests would give us helpful, practical gifts! This proved true as well. Almost all gifts will too. But, I found that accepting the gifts was no simple matter. I was extraordinarily embarrassed to see so many. I actually should not have worried, but I did at the time.

Those wedding shoes of my Gran's were closed-toe, kitten heeled, blue leather. Not only were these the ideal wedding shoes for me, but they'd looked hot with 2 jeans later! At the time of course I did not know if the shoes would basically match my dress. I ordered them to be made on a hunch. I did not need them to match exactly, but they would need to coordinate. Really, I was just plain lucky and the two together looked devine!

Partying's great, drinking's great, too, but what I would have liked to have, as a Christian getting wed, was a heavy commitment, and I think that the best weddings still keep an amount of respect for that.

It occurred that way for us, but we stumbled upon wedding and our wedding plans, we were and still are committed, but when we made the choice there was tiny time for planning - we just could not wait.

Finally, I noticed that I was ready for a commitment. There wasn't any stopping either of us then.So, we got started with our detailed wedding pans.

Subconsciously, looking back at it I was craving for him to ask me to marry him. At the time I said to myself ; "I must be funny, why did I ask that?"

A Great Wedding Day

They said they thought it time, and "right" that we were married!!

Thanks go to all, but Jim especially who performed the speeches so very well for us, and I was under the impression that ours was the ideal disco host accepting all requests.

I married a person, my opinion is that I can spend eternity with. But when we both said our promises I felt like we were paying each other the biggest compliment ever by promising to remain the rest of our lives. I voiced this to Steve again yesterday and remainder of our lives.
